System & Pricing

Base Build System

A better way to build a home.

A high-performance home with a defined price, a certified builder, and a clear process from start to finish.

HOW IT WORKS

From first call
to keys in hand.

You choose a model and a design package. We deliver the plans, the specs, and a certified builder. Everything is documented before construction starts.

1

Choose your model

Base I or Base I+. Two distinct homes built on the same high-performance panel system.

2

Choose a design

Select from our pre-developed design packages. Curated palettes of materials and finishes, every option fully resolved. No grey areas.

3

Your Base Build System

This is where your project becomes real. You acquire the Base Build System: plans, specifications, a certified builder, fixed-price guarantee, and performance milestones included.

4

Design Meeting

Finalize your selections in a dedicated meeting with Base. Design palette, materials, finishes. Every detail documented before construction begins.

5

Construction

A certified builder constructs your home using our prefabricated panels. Built to defined specifications, no improvisation.

6

Move-in

Keys in hand. A home that performs as well as it looks. Built with healthy materials, in a fraction of the usual time.

The Base Advantage

Building faster and
building better.

Build smarter, build faster, waste less. Our prefabricated panels assemble up to 3X faster than conventional construction. Cutting happens in the factory, so most of the waste never reaches your land.

Build Timeline

What Makes a Base

BASE BUILD ADVANTAGE

Less to figure out.
More to look forward to.

We’ve tested the materials, refined the details, and documented the build process. What’s left for you is the fun part: picking a model and a design package.

Design resovled

A clear starting point

Pre-developed design packages and a dedicated design meeting. The spec book your builder receives covers materials, finishes, and details. Ready to build from.

Materials specified

Selected for a reason

Passive House certified windows, bio-sourced panels, architectural millwork. Each component has been tested and sourced through a coordinated supply chain.

Performance defined

Measured on site

Airtightness, thermal envelope, and material standards. Built into the documentation your builder follows.

Build coordinated

We stay involved

Your certified builder gets the full documentation package. Base coordinates milestone check-ins during the build.

PERFORMANCE

How does Base compare?

We’ve tested the system in real conditions. Airtightness, thermal envelope, embodied carbon. Here’s what we measured.

The leading indicator of efficiency: Air tightness

Air Tightness
0.25
ACH @ 50Pa
Base
0.25–0.29
Passive House
0.6
Conventional
3.0–5.0
The lower the better. 2X better than Passive House strict minimums and 10–20X better than conventional homes.

The benefit of bio-sourced materials

Thermal Lag
11–17.2
Hours
BASE Conventional
Walls
11h
4h
Roof
17.2h
6h
The longer the better. Thermal lag refers to the time it takes for heat to move through a home’s shell.

Triple-glazed, Passive House certified windows

Window Performance
0.64
W/(m²K)
NZP Passive House certified triple glazed
0.64
Conventional double-glazed
2.0–2.5
The lower the better. Our Passive House certified windows are nearly 4X more efficient than conventional double-glazed.

Carbon negative panels: the future of building

Carbon Footprint
-42
kg CO₂/m²
Base: Building shell carbon average
-42
Conventional: Building shell carbon average
+45
Our bio-based building shells use materials that have absorbed more carbon than their production emitted.

An easy building system for fast, high perfomance builds.
