Win 2 Nights at Base Habitation – Model Base I at LAO (Eastern Townships)
CONTEST RULES & REGULATIONS
- Contest Organizer
The contest is organized by Base Habitation Inc. (the “Organizer”) in partnership with LAO Cabines and the Salon National de l’Habitation.
- Eligibility
The contest is open to residents of Québec aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.
- Contest Period
The contest begins on March 12 at 10:00 a.m. (ET) and ends on March 15 at 5:00 p.m. (ET), 2026 (the “Contest Period”).
All entries must be received within this period.
- How to Enter
To enter the contest, participants must complete the following steps during the Contest Period:
- Follow @BaseHabitation on Instagram
- Like the official contest publication
- Sign up for the Base waitlist via the link provided in the contest publication and provide consent to receive promotional communications, news, and updates from Base Habitation.
Bonus Entry
Participants may receive one (1) additional entry by:
- Sharing the contest publication to their Instagram Stories or feed during the Contest Period.
Maximum of two (2) total entries per person (one base entry + one bonus entry).
No purchase is required to enter or win.
Participants must remain subscribed to the waitlist and remain followers of the applicable Instagram accounts at the time of the draw to be eligible for bonus entries.
This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.
- Prize
One (1) prize is available to be won:
Two (2) consecutive nights in the Base Camp at LAO, located in the Eastern Townships (Québec).
The prize:
- Is subject to availability
- Must be redeemed within twelve (12) months of the draw date
- Is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and has no cash value
- Does not include transportation, meals, insurance, cleaning fees (if applicable), or additional expenses
- May be subject to blackout dates
- Winner Selection
One (1) winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
The draw will take place on March 16, 2026.
The selected entrant will be contacted by email within five (5) business days of the draw.
To be declared the winner, the selected entrant must:
- Correctly answer a skill-testing mathematical question; and
- Sign a declaration and release form.
If the selected entrant cannot be reached within five (5) business days or fails to meet the conditions above, another entrant may be selected.
- Odds of Winning
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
- Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with this contest will be used for contest administration and in accordance with Base Habitation’s privacy policy.
By entering, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information for these purposes and to receive promotional communications from Base Habitation, from which they may unsubscribe at any time.
- Publicity
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to allow the Organizer to use their name, city of residence, and/or photograph for promotional purposes without further compensation.
- General Conditions
The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the contest in the event of fraud, technical failure, or any cause beyond its reasonable control.
This contest is subject to all applicable Québec laws and regulations.
